We are really pleased with this carrier. My 6 month old loves being in it, and after only a couple of weeks use has cottoned on that when the sleep hood goes on, it is time for her to go off... It is comfy to wear and very portable. The only issue we have had is initial protestations as our baby was used to facing forwards in a baby bjorn, but we seem to have got over this.
Natural Nursery despatched promtly with good communication. I would recommend them. 5/5 TM May 2011 Great service, great carrier I've had this carrier for years and it's the most comfortable one I've tried. I can carry my youngest (1.5 yrs) for hours and for short distances I can still carry my 3 year old on my back (because she's getting heavy!) But it's great for younger babies as well. I just bought it for a friend who had a new baby.
The service was also very good, Natural Nursery dispatched very promptly and kept me informed.

Ergo baby carrier
This is a great carrier, for Mum, baby and toddler! It sits on your hips so there is no shoulder or back ache. I use it for my baby and my toddler (separately of course!). In fact this is my second Ergo carrier so both Mum and Dad can carry a child each while we are out walking.

The Ergo arrived this morning and it's fantastic! I don't know why I waited so long to get it - my baby is five months old and the Bjorn was getting very uncomfortable, but she weighs nothing in the Ergo and is blissfully happy in it. Thank you! yours, S, July 2009

I am delighted with my Ergo Performance. My baby is a really 'hot-blooded' little boy and both he and I were overheating with wrap carriers. We both stay nice and cool with this. My husband really likes this carrier as it looks quite sporty and he has found it really comfy to use (6"1, size Large). I on the other hand am only 5'2"/size 10 and also find this carrier very comfy. Of note, the shoulder straps are different to the original - they are not thick and squishy but firmer and thinner. However, I have never found them uncomfy even after hours. They are also more tapered and come in closer together. I was worried this might mean they rubbed on my neck. However, having tried both the Performance and Original I found these actually a much better fit - the original straps are very bulky and wide-set and meant it kind of hung off my outer shoulders and pulled. So some smaller ladies may find the straps rub on their neck but I've actually found this a much better fit. Although this is not a 'waterproof' carrier, I have survived 30mins in a big downpour. I had my regular-sized waterproof coat on over and was able to do this up at the bottom (below the Ergo) to cover my son's legs. I put the Ergo hood up, tucked his arms in and scampered home! I was impressed to find an essentially dry baby underneath when I got in, who had enjoyed the adventure! The lightweight nature of this carrier also meant it then dried out quickly. Overall, a functional, versatile carrier which is comfy for 2 very different sized people and also very easy to adjust between us. AW April 2011 I Love My Ergo! This is a fantastic sling and although it is expensive i think its worth every penny. My 4 month old is a hefty 21 lbs and carrying him in the baby bjorn was really hurting my shoulders. However with the ergo i can carry him for ages in the front carrying position without sore shoulders. It takes a little while to adjust all the straps to a comfy position but once adjusted its very easy to use. My baby does seem more comfortable with me using it then my husband, he seems to sit a little too low in the sling with my husband using. I'm sure a bit of strap fiddling would resolve this minor issue though. The pocket is really handy for wallet/ phone but i'm now in debate whether to splash out on the cargo pack or not.... Great carrier
I had been searching for a carrier which was both comfortable for baby and me for ages. This it it. The best recommendation I have ever received. It is gentle on my back and my daughter settled into it so quickly.

Great buy! Using it for our ten week old with the Infant Insert. Easy to use, although requires a little practice to get the hang of it. Very very comfortable to wear! Baby seems very happy in it too. M, Thursday, 27 January 2011 Great for carrying older babies This is lightweight and comfortable to wear and great for when your baby becomes too big/heavy for the baby bjorn. You can hardly tell you're carrying a baby as the weight is well distributed. The only trouble I'm having is getting my 7 month into the back carrying position - it's tricky on your own, but I'm sure with practice we'll master it! A, Wednesday, 12 January 2011 Worth every penny! The Ergo may be pricier than other carriers but it's worth every penny! I wish I'd bought it sooner. It spreads baby's weight well between your upper and lower back, rather than straining your shoulders as alot of other carriers do. Really quick to pop on and off and no hassle at all to get baby in to the right position. The pockets are also roomy enough to get a couple of nappies and other bits and bobs in. Ergo Heart2Heart Infant Insert Great for wee ones
We used this with our newborn when we went to Portugal. It was superb and I was pleasantly surprised that she didn't get too hot in it either. Also, I would like to let you know that I tried the Ergo baby carrier I ordered last night, it's amazing! I had a Baby Bjorn one, which looks very posh but it hurts my shoulders and back a lot and I don't think my baby feels comfortable in it either. This Ergo carrier supports the baby so well and the weight is evenly distributed so I think I can wear it for a long walk. I would recommend this to all my mother-to-be friends. I'm also so glad that I ordered the Sucking Pads to go with the carrier, for the first thing my baby did in the carrier was sucking the straps. :-) Many thanks. Best regards. L, September 2009 Good accessory - ErgoBaby Front Pouch This is a great addition to the Ergobaby carrier, as I can go out and about without carrying a bag in addition to the baby. WIth this I can carry the essentials for trips to the shop, etc. that don't require me to bring a changing bag. Well designed Great not to have to carry a separate bag and useful to have the option of attaching the shoulder strap to use as a handbag without the carrier. However, it's not very big - will fit one or two disposable nappies and some wipes etc but not much space if you are using washables. So, good for nipping out to the shops and having a "just in case" kit with you but would need more space if you are out and about for the day.

Useful addition Smart bag simply clips onto performance carrier. I use this instead of a separate handbag/changing bag. Plenty of room as a changing bag. Essential items like keys/phone/purse can always be held in the pocket of the carrier itself. I am incredibly glad I did so, as it means that it's not necessary to carry another bag. Fits a couple of nappies, some wipes & bags, a spare vest, plus my purse, phone and keys. Great for a sucky/dribbly/pukey baby. Soft and wash well. I've also used them in place of the my carseat chest strap pads when those are in the wash. 5/5 AW. I had to order it after the carrier as sure enough when I used the carrier for the first time my baby starting sucking on the straps. These pads offer a little bit of protection. Completely worth buying!
We knew from the state of another sling our baby had been riding in that he was going to suck, and suck he has. It's so much easier to just wash these small pieces than the whole sling, which is a good thing as the Ergo Performance instructions discourage you from washing the whole carrier as it will damage the material. We chose to buy two, as we use the carrier everyday, so we always have some on us when one pair is being washed. They are soft, hygienic and for us and our sucky baby, an essential additional to the Performance Carrier. Plus, they were much cheaper on Natural Nursery than other sites we looked at. Expensive but worth it I didn't initially buy these with my carrier but the first time I used the sling my baby soaked the strap by sucking on it. So i got a couple of pairs of these and i'm happy they will prolong the life of the carrier and be a bit more comfortable and hygienic for my baby. They are nice and soft against my babys face too when he falls asleep in the sling and slumps a bit. S, Monday, 7 February 2011
 My daughter in Australia asked me to order 2 for her friend. They arrived within 24hours, and I was so impressed I ordered a 3rd for my Australian granddaughter. All 3 are now "downunder" and I expect more orders!!!

A really beautifully made carrier. My four year old daughter loves it and wears it all the time. As my daughter is quite small we used the fabric handle of the box to hold the shoulder straps together at the back to make to fit a little better.
