Tots Bots cloth washable nappies have won numerous awards for their simple, leak proof reusable nappy design.
The original Totsbots nappy was designed to be used by their own family and although the Tots nappy has evolved over the years, it is still based on the simple, easy to use design, which has revolutionised the cloth nappy world.
Much of the Tots production is still in the company’s home city of Glasgow but some is now outsourced to Turkey, where the factories are modern and well managed, with labour laws similar to the UK and no child labour.
Tots Bots ethics can be seen in their strict environmental policies – they work actively to reduce their carbon footprint by:
- Choosing local suppliers where possible
- Filtering all emissions to water or air from the factories
- Around 90% of their electricity is hydro-generated
- All fabric remanants are reused or recycled
- Packaging is kept to a minimum and is often reusable
