Wilkinet was founded by Sally Wilkins, a mum of eight in the seventies. The baby carrier has stood the test of time. Sally couldn't find the perfect baby carrier both comfortable and easy to use so she set out to design her own. The Wilkinet combines the ease of use a baby carrier with the comfort of a baby wrap. A Wilkinet is suitable from birth to toddler and particularly suited to young babies and parents using baby slings for the first time. It can be used for front, back and hip carries.
The lightly padded straps spread the baby's weight evenly across your body. Your baby will be held high against your chest so you don't need to lean back or forward which would cause discomfort. The baby carrier straps also wrap under the baby's bottom, supporting his weight in order to protect his spinal development.
